The film embodies a set of events inside a fictional summer camp in 1981. The film deals with a mysterious comedy targeting the teenage audience of the era, as there is a group of advisors who try to complete their unfinished business before the day ends as quickly as possible.
For all its failings, Wet Hot maintains energy and high spirits over most of its length. The trouble is, such energy and spirits are not infectious, and the movies it mocks were better.
