This story tells about the world of espionage and police, where a secret police officer has been appointed on a task that seems the most difficult duty ever. The task of the policeman is to teach a group of children at the age of six a new activity to find a drug dealer. Perhaps the task may be very difficult but the policeman is trying to implement the scheme.
In Kindergarten Cop, he plays off the Schwarzenegger image more gleefully and successfully than ever before.

Surrounding Arnold with the giddy kiddies is a shameless, gimmicky stunt. But what the heck...Reitman's actioner still works as a zesty vehicle for The Muscled One.

[Schwarzenneger's] transformation in to kids film star is nearly seamless, as he's able to connect with his primarily younger cast surprisingly well, and garners a strong chemistry with just about everyone in the film.
If Reitman's film gets closer than most to covering the bases, there remain huge gaps in plausibility and a romantic subplot any ten-year-old could tell you is just plain icky.
Kindergarten Cop is made up out of parts that shouldn't fit, but somehow they do, making a slick entertainment out of the improbable, the impossible, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Actually fairly entertaining, buoyed by Schwarzenegger's self-deprecating charm and easy chemistry with his capable costar, Pamela Reed, and the hammiest bunch of tykes ever assembled for a movie.
[Director Reitman's] got a way with kids, and found a remarkable ensemble of 30 antic urchins to work with, cashing in on kindergarten's comic terrain and the blurted brutal honesty of the kids.
hough Schwarzenegger remains to acting what ham hocks are to a cheese course, he manages against all odds to be appealing as the Austrian au pair. Think of it as To Conan With Love.
