The film deals with an oil tanker that has been endangered by whales, and many animal and human lives must be saved as well when the oil ignites at some point. Two potential friends, Jesse and the Killer Whale Willie are now reunited as they both fight a new war.
As with most unnecessary sequels, FW2 takes a similar plot -- reunited during a camping trip, Jesse saves Willy and vice versa -- and spreads it thinner, like watered-down tartar sauce.
