Sheriff Don Lamb was put into office after Keith Mars was removed due to accusing a wealthy endearing father of being the person who murdered his daughter Lily Kane. Due to Keith being removed his main deputy got promoted. Sheriff Don Lamb is a very self centered character who can't get over his giant ego and do his job. He occasionally is very helpful but most of the time does nothing.
