Generally, the movie revolves around the disagreement. Specially it follows a Lebanese Christian, Tony and the one he has a words fight with him, Yasser. Each one of them has his own opinion. During their discussion about politics they fight, the thing which lately turned to a public opinion case.

"The Insult" drives the point home while offering insight into the Middle East conflict (it's at least part history lesson) by way of a riveting courtroom drama enhanced by terrific performances.
