It's a very dramatic and youthful story. It's about a guy named Chip Douglas from Oddball, trying to authenticate with Steven Kovacs by offering premium channels worth $ 50 for a free cable. On the other hand, Stephen refused to need a chip in it, but maybe then Chip moves on to chasing my weird self. Events then begin to change when Stephen tries to attack Steven's life, so the events can look different.
Much of it plays like a personal boob tube with Carrey trapped inside, determined to act his way out in a freak show of mugging. He's a disturbing mixture of psychopath and lonely soul. Here, as always, a little Carrey goes a long way.
In all, about a third of the film (most of it contained in three extended sequences) is audaciously funny and genuinely disturbing. The rest will sorely test the devotion of Carrey's fans.
