It is the story of Felix Farmer, the film director whose career has been going through a different and somewhat bad turn. One day, Felix decided to commit suicide in vain but realized that the reason for his film's failure was the lack of sex in his films. In a short while, Felix tries to save his career by revamping his movie as a different erotic and sexual production.
Black comedy is a tough commodity to sustain and, after a broad start, Edwards quickly finds a deft balance that paints a cockeyed, self-contained world that comfortably supports its exaggerated characters.
