Freddie offers to assist her in the assignment and lets her use his video equipment. During the auditions, Carly and Sam are caught making fun of their teacher, and Freddie accidentally uploads a video of the exchange on the website.The video proves to be quite popular, and she and her friends decide to start a web show called iCarly , a name suggested by Freddie. The first web cast revolves around kids with strange talents, although other episodes also contain such kids as well as plenty of other random topics and routines.When the show quickly becomes a hit, the group mines their lives to come up with material while also juggling their newfound celebrity, fueled by Sam and Freddie's constant bickering and Spencer's quirks.
