Sean grew up in and around Toronto, Canada. His first production that set the course for pursuing acting was as the lead Sky Masterson in his High School musical "Guys N' Dolls". Although soon after he studied at Drama School in New York his early professional career began back in Toronto. Some of the various Canadian theaters he has worked at include The Tarragon, Theater Passe Muraille and the Canadian Stage Company to name a few. He permanently moved back to New York in 1998 and has an especially strong theater background there which may account for his versatility with accents, languages and the ability to play many different ethnic backgrounds authentically. The roles have been extreme contrasts from the emotionally fractured and shutdown Indian Father in the original cast of "Riceboy" at Yale Repertory to dual roles in the original cast of Tony Kushner's "Homebody/Kabul" Off-Broadway as the Sinatra loving Afghan hat salesman informant Zai Garshi and a 150 year old hermit at the grave site of Cain, The Marabout. Film and Television has also seen him in roles as diverse as the recurring Dr. Singh on "Law & Order SVU" to the crazed meat flinging assistant butcher One-Toothed Yakov opposite John Turturro in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen". His talents have reached into a variety of mediums from works like the Guinness World Records setting video game "Grand Theft Auto IV" as Hossan Ramzy where he did all the motion capture and voice over for the character, to the super hero like acerbic Dhlasim in the collegehumor web series hit "Street Fighter: the Later Years" based on the popular video game from the 80's. Most recently in 2008 he had returned to the stage in the Off Broadway sold out British hit "Rafta Rafta" as the testosterone filled walking erection Jivaj Bhatt. He makes his home between both New York and Los Angeles. Show less «
